Bobbi Misiti is known for her enthusiasm and love of health, good local organic food, permaculture gardening, movement and yoga.
I combine this enthusiasm with education of the body, how it operates, and how it moves. I have dedicated my life to practicing and teaching health, nutrition, yoga, and lifestyle.
My journey on this path began in 1990 as a self employed personal trainer, fitness instructor, and nutrition educator.
In 1996 I found Ashtanga Yoga and delve deep into the yoga path following the traditional old fashioned style of Ashtanga Yoga. My studies on the ashtanga path started with Beryl Bender Birch, continued with Manju Jois, and since 2003, Nancy Gilgoff. Since then I have been practicing and teaching extensively in the method as I learned it from Nancy.
In April of 2001 I opened BeFit Body & Mind, taking a giant leap on my own to teach from my heart – Many years of athletics and exercise led me to include yoga as a balance between fitness for the body and inner well being. Finding this balance in my own life I want to share it in a way that is beneficial to body, heart, and mind.
In the fall of 2009 I began traveling and teaching world wide spreading the joy of good health, fitness, and yoga : https://www.befityoga.com/yoga-workshops-worldwide/
I currently am enrolled in the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, upon graduation in July 2017 I will be a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach.
I have an extensive background in anatomy, kinesiology, nutrition, yoga practices, and fitness training.
